Work in Progress

A quick pastel painting in the works. This piece is being done on charcoal paper, 11x17. This paper works well for two tone pictures (charcoal, Conte crayon), not ideal for pastel use. I'm simply experimenting the outcome of the work. So far it is not that bad. Layering the pastel colors is very limited. This picture portrays a maintenance road at Honey Creek Conservation Area in Northwest Missouri.
