Art Book in Progress---Beloved Krug Park
An art book is in progress. Yes, you read that right---an art book. I have several ideas for art books, but this one is something I feel would really be cherished.
Off and on these past few weeks, I've been compiling a number of images of paintings from my ongoing series, The Krug Park Collection, for a book. The title is Beloved Krug Park, The Krug Park Collection and will be an introductory and reference to the series of impressionistic work. It will contain a brief history of the park, an introduction, inspirations, writings, photographs, and colorful images of Krug Park paintings done by me on site and in the studio.

The Krug Park Collection is a series of pastel and oil paintings depicting the charm and remnants of our city's crown jewel, Krug Park. This park is where I first began my journey into plein air painting. The beauty of the park has gone from elegance to rugged throughout its time, and with some restoration currently being done in and around the lagoon, some of that ruggedness will transform. With the long overdue attention the park is getting, what better time to put together a book of paintings of our Beloved Krug Park?
Online self-publishing with blurb.com. Currently, the book is in it's beginning stage and will not be completed for quite sometime---possibly in the next year or two. Or until I have enough pieces and material to call a stopping point. It will be a hardback with a dust cover with over 100 pages. A keepsake for any St. Joe family or native to enjoy.

A Crown Jewel means to be something dear and precious.
The things that are precious to us are naturally handled and displayed
with great care and admiration.
Cherish and take great care of the things left for us,
and enjoy them while you can.
Or forever they may be lost.
