AKMA 39th Annual Membership Exhibition

"Early Autumn View; Wyeth Hill" received Honorable Mention in category Painting.

As usual, the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art held a fine evening of fine art and wine.  The opening reception went well.  This event is very competitive in our region and showcases a wide variety.  93 member artists participated this year with a total of 171 artworks.  28 cities in 5 states are represented including Hawaii, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska & Washington...as well as Munich, Germany.

With painting (oil/acrylic) being the largest and most competitive category, I am pleased that my painting, "Early Autumn View; Wyeth Hill" had won Honorable Mention.  First Place in painting went to Penny Pate Dillon, who is one our Charter Members in the Missouri Valley Impressionist Society.  She also won Honorable Mention in the same category.

The exhibit runs January 19th - February 24th

St. Joseph, MO
