Work in Progress

Working over-size this time. This next piece will be a 24x36 landscape of the sun setting along the Missouri's river bluffs. Here I have prepared the surface with the basic underpainting by wet-brushing with water. After letting it dry, I begin working on the sky by mixing colors and placement of the sun. Right now I am trying to find the right mix of colors I want for the sun light throughout the sky.
