Here is the charcoal version of "Kansas City." As mentioned before, two tones are much easier and quicker to work with than a multiple of colors. The 24x36 is still a work in progress. One of things I like about the dry mediums such as charcoal and dry pastel, is that it doesn't take alot of effort to create mood in the atmosphere. The medium is very easy to rub into the surface and blend as you work the drawing. Finishing up the pastel version.
