"Pergola and Patio, Krug Park"

Last Thursday I took advantage of the great weather we've been having in between rains.  I left the kids at home with their aunt and Grandmother and journeyed on over to Krug Park.  It's been awhile since I last painted here, a little over a year.  The lagoon is drained, waiting to be cleaned out and rebuilt---a project way overdue.  It will be nice to have the waterfall working.

The sun was shining, the air was warm, and the park was unusually quiet.  With the lagoon drained, not a goose was found in the area.  I found a spot under the large oaks in front of the castle.  A view of the pergola and patio peeking over the hill.  Spring greens and yellows stood out nicely, as the foliage began to bloom.  Two hours were spent painting the remnants of this gem, with some touch ups made back home in the studio.  This is "Pergola and Patio, Krug Park."  Enjoy!
