3/4 completed. The background is finished, including the pillar on the left. Getting the effect of sunshine (rays of sun light) is very delicate work. A light yellow pastel must be applied very lightly so that the image can be seen through it. It also needs to be applied in the right direction in which the sun is shining. A mistake could cost one to redraw the entire image all over again and retry the effect.

All that is left, is detailing the roses and leaves in the foreground.
