Work in Progress

It's been over a week since my last posting as I've taken a little break. Yesterday I prepared for the next piece for the "Loose Park Rose Collection." Today I started the sketch and the under drawing. This piece will portray one of the entrances to the rose garden. It will show an impressionistic display of light and shadows as the evening sunlight shines down the stairs and through the pergola.

Note--the two front pillars will have climbing (pink) roses upon them. The same type of roses portrayed in my last work.
