Here is a summer scene I've done in the past only this time in oil pastel. I am detailing the work as I move along the surface of the paper, limiting my palette. I am using small strokes for broken color emphasizing delicate work, this process is taking a little longer than if I used a more rendering method. This scene is from the Arboretum and Botanical Gardens found in Overland Park, KS.
