Finding limited time in creating art, time of my own is usually in the late evenings. A midnight painter is what I've become. The studio has been quiet these past couple of months since the twins arrived. As things become easier and the kids sleep most of the night, I'm able to get some artwork done. Here is the current work in progress. A 15x24 pastel painting depicting a scene from Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge. The piece is near complete. The composition has been sketched and local colors added, we now fill in the details.
