A Moment of Rest

After adding the final touches, I looked the painting over to see if I missed anything I may have felt needed reworked.  Coming back to the painting the next day with fresh eyes always helps to make any final decisions before calling it done.  Once completed, it is signed and given a catalog number.

Final Image:  Here I added geese in the water.  You can't paint the Krug Park lagoon without adding some geese.  The geese are present all the time no matter what time of year. 


"A Moment of Rest"  -- a peaceful moment in the park when kids are in school and the parents are at work.  A good time of day to get away from the daily routines in life.
