Finally found the time to complete this piece. A 24x36 landscape of the sun setting among the Missouri River bluffs in the Monkey Mountain Conservation Area. This is a common sight during the hunting season indicating the days hunt is over and it's time to head back home. The sun glows with light reflecting from the dry wild flowers and grasses. Fine details are hidden as the light passes over the dark shadows in the direction of the viewers eyes.
