I finished this piece the other day. The original photo lacked sunlight with light and shadow due to an overcast of clouds. So I added the brightness of light and shadows to give the work more life. The reference photo used for this picture was taken at Bluff Woods Conservation Area, just south of St. Joseph, MO, during a rabbit hunt.
