"Sunlit Foliage at the Botanical Gardens"

Completed a couple of weeks ago, this piece is a beginning of a new era in my art. As mentioned before, I plan to take on oil painting as a new medium, not giving up my drawing. I will continue to paint small landscapes to get a feel of the techniques and the medium in general before I persue larger project ideas. Being used to the colors of pastels, I feel that oil paints are much more richer, crisper, and brighter.
