This version is much looser in imagery than my pastel painting. The colors are cooler and more broken. There have been a couple of trial and errors with this, but that is part of the journey of experimenting and learning on your own. Self-teaching has its merits, and that is the freedom of exploring new grounds and finding your own ability/style, rather than mimicking under an others wing.
