An elegant painting depicting one of St. Joseph, MO's grandiose structures...City Hall.  Built in 1926, this ornate building is a symbol of St. Joseph's age of prosperity, which ended abruptly in the 1930's, just after the completion of this grand public building; a monumental, building in a Renaissance revival style, the Saint Joseph City Hall, is the work of master architects (George Burnap, Jacques Greber, and the firm of Eckel and Aldrich) and possesses high artistic values in its form and details.

 

Civic Center Park are the grounds behind City Hall used for several civic purposes including the city's largest art festival, Trails West!
