Art Donation---Silent Auction
An award winning painting of mine will be up for silent auction in this year's annual YWCA Pink Tea Luncheon for Breast Cancer awareness here in St. Joseph, MO. The event will be held October 16th. The luncheon will be informative about breast screening and breast health. Dr. Mulder from Mosaic Life Care Breast Center will be the guest speaker for this year's event.
Painting Notes:
The painting I'm donating is titled Peonies Along a Stone Path. It is a 14x11 inch oil painting done en plain air. It was completed on sight at the Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens for the Stems Plein Air Paint event that was held earlier this year. It won Fourth Place in the event and was exhibited in the Feature Show at the Tomahawk Community Center in Overland Park as well as the Stems Garden Soiree event held at the Arboretum. It is beautifully framed in a gold Colonial style wood frame---ready to hang.
The painting is priced at $500 framed.
