Work in Progress

The second "Scout View of Kansas City" is in progress. This one is a miniature (8x10) oil pastel. Starting with the background working my way forward, I have laid out the skyline. These are the first layers of color used for placement and definition. As soon as I figure out my palette of choice, they will be filled in with thicker layers and begin moving forward. Some areas I may have to skip ahead to the foreground. We will find those areas as we go.
