To start the year off, I've completed a studio painting I began this past December---a winter scene of my wife carrying my oldest son down our street just outside St. Joe.  This was done from a reference photo I have taken a couple of years ago.  It was a bitter cold afternoon, with wind chills and temperatures in the lower 20's.  Even though we were bundled up, we did not stay outside for very long.  Good chance I didn't even finish shoveling the driveway.  Enjoy!
