Winter warmth is often a desired time during Kansas City's bitter winter season. This year we've been lucky to have the mild weather with temperatures in the 50's and 60's, not even an inch of snow has fallen. This picture depicts a much colder season along the walking paths of the Kansas City Sculpture Park, which is basically the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art's front yard. The warm sunlight is captured with warm colors. Shadows give a feeling of cold chills, lacking the heat from direct sunlight. When will the snow fall in KC for further inspirations? July?
